So let me pretend I'm realy stupid...
If under Empire, we are supposed to have free speech through the FCC & the CPB... So why do we still have Clear Channel (a fascist Corporation-Ruppert Murdock-Fox, etc..) now owning over 1,500.00 Radio Stations in the U.S.???? By the way, Democracy has never existed any where in the globe to date! Only a theory, exploited by the two headed Dragon of the Democrats/Republicans. So I am with the Peace & Freedom Party. http://www.peaceandfreedom.org

Sec. 396. [47 U.S.C. 396] Corporation for Public Broadcasting

(a) Congressional declaration of policy

The Congress hereby finds and declares that--
(1) it is in the public interest to encourage the growth and development of public radio and television broadcasting, including the use of such media for instructional, educational, and cultural purposes;
(2) it is in the public interest to encourage the growth and development of nonbroadcast telecommunications technologies for the delivery of public telecommunications services;
(3) expansion and development of public telecommunications and of diversity of its programming depend on freedom, imagination, and initiative on both local and national levels;
(4) The CPB-Corporation for Public Broadcasting was influenced by the avant of the then FM radio wave frequency
spectrum, and because Pacifica Radio Foundation, that was the very first to farm/develop it's humble beginnings on this out of the box untested spectrum.

Thus, the CPB-Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which was created in 1967.
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting is a private, non-profit corporation that
provides funding to various not for profit organizations might benefit, in order to
accomplish their mission, free from commercial influence.
